Scheduled - Shopify have released a compulsory API update and our system needs to perform a maintenance cycle to be compatible with this update.

During the above outage window you may see orders from Shopify that do not make it into your Lightspeed POS system.

Please ensure you keep an eye on Shopify for orders during that time, any orders that do not make it to your POS will need to be manually entered.

We are only expecting a single 5 minute outage during this window, but are allowing an hour to address any unforeseen circumstances.

NOTE: This only impacts our Shopify integration. No other ordering integration is impacted.

How: You can continue to sell on POS the whole way through. Then after this time, your POS will auto-update.

- MOTO Transactions are now supported via Lightspeed Payments
- The 'Transaction Successful' screen has a new look and will now close after 15 seconds without user interaction.
- OpenTable users can now disable Auto-Order Creation, allowing order-at-table online ordering integrations to be used in conjunction with OpenTable.

- Tyro surcharges are now displayed correctly on PDF Invoices emailed via the POS.
- Fixed webhooks that weren't firing when some products were updated in Back Office.

Update - The downstream payment processor has scoped down the issue to a specific service within their platform. They have started to implemented a fix which we see it is improving performance as of 7:18 AEDT.

Identified - SmartPay have contacted our team and verified they are seeing connectivity issues, they believe it's originating outside of their system but are currently investigating.

This appears to be isolated to a specific ISP, but having the user change their DNS to Google DNS ( and and then turning Wifi off and back on again, will bring your POS back online.

Identified - Our team have identified that our Back Office reporting system has some delays at the moment. We are releasing a patch tonight that will update and back-fill this data. It should be resolved later this evening.

Impacted customers can click the Resync button of any failed invoices that have the error message "Error converting value "" to type 'System.Guid'" and these will now work.

Any other error messages would be unrelated and should be raised to our support team as per normal.
